1. Delivery

Q: How big are large-scale works?

A. The sum of the three dimensions (length + width + depth) exceeds 250 centimeters. This item cannot be shipped via regular Yamato Transport or Sagawa Express services. Please contact Yamato Transport (artwork service) or a company specializing in transporting large items.

In that case, please arrange for delivery and return shipping through a shipping company, and then inform the secretariat of the details of the delivery and return.

Q: My artwork is too large, and the shipping company said they can't transport it.

A. Many customers seem to be transporting their items in and out of their own vehicles, or using Yamato Transport (for art items), or a local delivery company (such as a light transport service) in their area. Please make arrangements as soon as possible.

*The office does not handle the delivery or return of large artworks.

Q: I would like to hire a delivery company (up to unpacking) and a removal company (up to packing) myself. Is that possible?

A: Of course, that's possible. Please inform the secretariat that you have made the arrangements.

*If you request unpacking and packing services from the secretariat, a service fee (see website) will be required.

Q: What should I do if my artwork doesn't arrive by the submission deadline?

A. Please contact the secretariat as soon as possible, as we may not be able to secure exhibition space or display your artwork.

Q: Where should I inquire about delivery problems?

A. Please check the condition of the packaging materials and contact the delivery company. The delivery company will then contact the office.

2. Loading and unloading

Q: I would like to change the loading/unloading method.

A. Changes are possible. Please inform the secretariat as soon as the method of delivery and pickup is decided.

Q: I would like to change the title and other details of my work.

A. Please inform the secretariat by the application deadline.

Q: What should I do if my artwork doesn't arrive by the delivery date?

A. Please contact the secretariat immediately, as we may not be able to secure exhibition space or even exhibit your work.

3. Exhibition

Q: Do I get to decide the display location myself?

The exhibition coordinator will handle the placement.

Q: Is it okay to display explanations of my work and my profile in the exhibition room?

Due to the nature of the museum, please refrain from bringing informational materials into the building.

Q: Why can't natural objects or water be exhibited?

A. Anything that could potentially affect other works, such as pest infestations or mold, is not permitted.

Q: In video production, is it possible to mount the monitor on the wall?

A. Wall mounting limits the available display space due to factors such as power supply, so installation on a display stand is generally preferred.

Q: Can I request the secretariat to turn on the power during the exhibition period?

A. Startup. Please ensure that it either starts up simply by turning on the power, or requires a two-step startup procedure.

Q: The artwork weighs over 20 kilograms. Could you help me with the installation?

A. Please arrange for exhibition staff. Please inform the secretariat of the weight, exhibition method, etc.

Q: Is it possible to hang artwork weighing more than 20kg on the wall?

A. It can lift up to approximately 20 kg. If you need to lift more than 20 kg, please contact our office.

Q: Can it be hung from the ceiling?

A. This varies depending on the exhibition, so please contact the secretariat for details.

Q: If an exhibition requires an admission fee, do artists also need to pay an admission fee each time?

A. Exhibiting artists do not need to pay an admission fee. Artist passes are available at the venue reception.

4. Please make use of it.

Q: What does it mean to have your work published on 410WebStore?

A 410Gallery will list your artwork on their online store, 410WebStore.com, for one year. The online store is accessible 24 hours a day to people all over the world. We will contact the artist if any business opportunities arise. Please take advantage of this opportunity.
